Reem Acra Dresses First Lady Dr. Jill Biden And Her Granddaughter Naomi Biden For Her White House Wedding

American Designer Reem Acra had the great honor to create dresses for the First Lady, Dr.Jill Biden and the reception wedding dress for Naomi Biden, the eldest granddaughter of President Biden, who married Peter Neal in front of approximately 250 guests. Acra created a strapless ivory silk Mikado dress with her grandmother Roberta Buhle’s pearls sewn into the sweeping six-foot train for her black-tie reception.

Acra created an embroidered seafoam blue dress for the First Lady to wear for the reception.

For the ceremony she designed for Dr. Biden a teal wool crepe coat and silk chiffon dress.

After successfully establishing herself in the bridal market with her detailed and innovative couture designs, Acra expanded into Ready-to-Wear in 2001. Similar to its bridal counterpart, the collection features carefully crafted pieces with ornate beading, flawless embroidery, and layered texture details.
